All purchases made through Keon-Jō are considered final sale. We do not accept returns, exchanges, or offer refunds for change of mind, incorrect orders, or buyer preference except where required by applicable consumer protection laws.
Made-to-Order Items — Monaco Spec Aero Chair
The Monaco Spec Aero Chair is a made-to-order, limited-edition piece (22 units total, numbered). Each chair is built sequentially to your order in single-piece carbon-fibre monocoque.
- All Monaco Spec Aero Chair sales are final. Because production begins immediately upon order confirmation, returns, exchanges, and refunds for change of mind are not accepted.
- Lead time is 6 weeks from order confirmation to dispatch via DHL Express.
- Statutory consumer rights still apply where legally required (see below).
- Damaged-on-arrival and manufacturing-defect claims are still covered (see the relevant sections below).
Statutory Consumer Rights (EU / UK Customers)
If you are purchasing from the European Union or the United Kingdom, you may be entitled to a 14-day statutory cooling-off period for online purchases, as required by local consumer law.
Where this right applies:
- You may request a return within 14 days of receiving your order.
- The item must be unused, uninstalled, and returned in its original condition and packaging.
- You must notify us in writing before returning the item.
Note: For made-to-order goods produced to your specifications (which may include the Monaco Spec Aero Chair where applicable), EU Article 16(c) and UK CCRs allow sellers to exclude the right of withdrawal once production has begun. Where this exclusion does not apply, statutory rights remain unaffected.
This statutory right cannot be waived and applies only where legally required.
Return Shipping Costs
Where a return is permitted by law:
- The customer is responsible for all return shipping costs.
- This includes packaging, shipping, insurance, customs duties, and any import/export fees.
- Keon-Jō does not provide prepaid return labels.
For high-value items such as the Monaco Spec Aero Chair, we strongly recommend fully insured, trackable shipping. Keon-Jō is not responsible for items lost or damaged during return transit.
Condition of Returned Items
Returned items must:
- Be unused and uninstalled.
- Be returned in original packaging.
- Show no signs of wear, damage, or modification.
If a returned item is received in a condition that does not meet these requirements, we reserve the right to refuse the return, or deduct an appropriate amount from any refund where legally permitted.
Refund Processing
Where a refund is legally required and approved:
- Refunds will be issued to the original payment method.
- Original shipping fees, duties, and taxes are non-refundable.
- Refunds are processed within 14 days of receiving the returned item, as required by law.
Non-Returnable Items
The following are non-returnable, except where required by law:
- The Monaco Spec Aero Chair (made-to-order, production begins on confirmation).
- Items damaged due to improper installation or handling.
- Items returned without prior written authorization.
- Items returned after the statutory return period.
- Limited-run or collectible items purchased outside regions where statutory returns apply.
Damaged or Faulty Items
If your item arrives damaged or defective, including the Monaco Spec Aero Chair:
- You must notify us within 7 days of delivery.
- Supporting photos and documentation will be required (outer packaging, the item itself, and any visible damage).
Where a defect is confirmed, we will offer a remedy in accordance with applicable consumer law, which may include repair, replacement, or refund. Damage and defect claims apply equally to in-stock and made-to-order items.
International Orders & Customs
For international orders:
- Customs duties, taxes, and import fees are non-refundable.
- Any return shipping across borders is the responsibility of the customer where legally allowed.
